The TdLab, co-directed by Prof. Dr. Michael Stauffacher, conceptualizes and tests educational and research approaches to tackle complexities of sustainable development. In TdLab’s research, close interaction with societal actors is of key importance, both in co-designing the research and co-producing knowledge throughout the whole process – an approach known as transdisciplinary research.
